India first fuel injection scooter is now available in market. The maestro Edge 125 cc is the first Indian scooter which comes with electronic fuel injection systems (EFI). Hero MotoCorp launched the Maestro Edge 125 with two trims: i3S (Carburettor) and FI; and three variants: FI, Carb (disc) and Carb (drum). Price range from 58,500 to 62,700 /-

It is powered by a 125cc (124.6), air cooled, single cylinder, Energy Boost engine The Maestro Edge 125 FI engine produces 9.24 PS at 7000 rpm and 10.2 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. The carb variants produce 8.7 PS at 6750 rpm and 10.2 Nm torque at 5000 rpm. Mileage of 55 kmpl with top speed at 90 kmph. , the carb Maestro Edge gets a larger 5.5-litre fuel tank compared to the FI with 5-litres tank.
The scooter is equipped with integrated braking system (IBS) for effective braking. The front wheel is 12-inch and 10-inch rear alloy wheels. The i3S variant gets drum brakes on both wheels with an optional 190mm front disc brake, the FI variant gets a standard front disc and rear drum brake. Suspension equipped with telescopic forks and a single hydraulic shock absorber.
Hero Maestro Edge stands 1841mm in length, 695mm in width and 1190mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1261mm, ground clearance of 155mm and seat height of 775mm with a total kerb weight of 110kgs. The colour option for Carb i3S variants are offered in matte Blue, matte Brown, matte Grey, matte Red, while the FI variants are offered in dual tone colour options of Black & Red and White & Brown.
Features on the Maestro Edge 125 include LED tail lamp and LED DRL's, fuel cap remote seat and opening, digital analogue instrument console, external fuel filler cap, boot lamp and mobile charging USB port in the boot.
It competes with the Honda Active 125, Honda Grazia, TVS Ntorq and Suzuki Access 125.
Hero Pleasure plus
Hero MotoCorp has also launched the Hero Pleasure plus with two variants: Sheet Metal Wheel and cast wheel variant. Both variant come with Carburettor not like maestro edge 125 which is equipped with electronic fuel injection systems (EFI). Hero Pleasure plus come in price range as follows

The new Pleasure plus get a new redesign and 110 cc engine which is more powerful than the old 102 cc engine which was with old pleasure. Giving a slightly different look with an all-new headlight with a matte-silver trim gives snub-nosed appearance. With the indicators are located on the front panel and are connected by a similar matte-silver trim. The rear end also been redesigned with sport bigger body colored panels flow into a redesigned tail-light section.
It is power by the 110 cc, air cooled, single cylinder engine which makes 8.2 PS at 7500 rpm and 8.7 Nm at 5500 rpm. In comparison, the 102cc variant makes 7 PS of power and 8.1 Nm of torque which makes 16 per cent more power and a 7 per cent more torque.
The scooter is equipped with integrated braking system (IBS) for effective braking, drum brakes on either end. The updated continues to use spring loaded shocks at either end. Braking performance too comes from the 130 mm drum brakes at the front and rear with. It has a kerb weight of 101kg. The Pleasure Plus comes with 7 attractive colors namely: Solid Red, Matte Velvet Red, Polestar Blue, Matte Vernier Grey, Glazed Black, Pearl Silver White, and Matte Bottle Green. The instrument console has been revised as well with a new digital display and comes with a USB charging slot as well.
It competes with Honda Dio, Yamaha Fascino, Honda Activa-I, TVS Scooty Zest and scooter in this segment
