TVS Scooty Pep+
As mentioned in many other posts, this is my favorite scooter; because it is oh-so-smooth to ride! Personal opinion apart, among the modern scooters, the TVS Scooty Pep+ has the shortest seat height at 740 mm, making the ride even more comfortable for shorter women. Other features that are in favor of this scooters are the ground clearance at 135 mm, which give you enough gap between the road and the scooter, but not too high that it becomes difficult to stop the scooter for shorter women. Its being lightweight, of course, is the main USP for selling to women customers, but more than that, it's the style that is attractive and vibrant which women like to be represented by on the road.
With a seat height of 760 mm and a ground clearance of 128 mm, the Yamaha Ray is the next best scooter for women with a short height. Available in dual tones, the style of this scooter is equally favorable with women and girls. To top it all, the Yamaha Ray presents itself with telescopic front suspension and unit swing rear suspension, giving its rider a smooth ride on most roads.
The Honda scooters are one of the most popular scooters in the market currently, keeping the competition, and thus the innovation alive. Honda Dio, with its seat height at 765 mm, gives a comfortable seating arrangement for shorter women, though with a ground clearance of 158 mm, a little bit of clever riding would be required by the riders to maneuver the scooter with ease through traffic. It also offers a stylish and dynamic look, making it a favorite among the independent female college crowd.
Contrary to popular opinion, the Honda Activa can be driven by short women. It offers a seat height similar to its successor, the Honda Dio, at 765 mm. It's ground clearance is slightly lower with 153 mm, however, the Honda Activa remains a favorite with taller women. Perhaps the weight of the scooter has something to do with it, too. However, there is no denying that without the Honda Activa, the scooter market would not have seen the diversification it enjoys today.
Last but not the least, the TVS Wego, with its 770 mm seat height is another scooter that will comfortably suit short women. Anything higher than this would be very uncomfortable to drive, let alone maneuver in traffic. The TVS Wego has a ground clearance of 150 mm, making it easier for women to stop the scooter without any difficulty. Designed specifically for the college going crowed, the TVS Wego certainly is an attractive sight on the road.
Please suggest me short seat height scooty. My height is only 4'10". I am currently using the Honda Deo but I can't ride on it due to the scooter.
